In this episode of The TEN, we discuss karate in Australia around the 1980's. Martial Arts was exploding into the western mainstream and the freestyle karate movement was an absolute juggernaut. From 30-man kumite's to competitions with no weight classes, to having very capable men and women on the doors of every night club in Melbourne and the events that ensued, the 80's were a time in martial arts history in this country that paved the way for us all today. Frank tells us stories and his experiences inside the Bob Jones Corporation and Wildcat Division from that time, we hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did.
